“I’m gonna give you to the count of three to get your lousy, lying, low down, four flushin carcass out my door. 1, 2 *fires tommy gun*
Now that we got rid of the intruders…who am I kidding. I know it takes more than an infamous Home Alone quote to rid myself of the un-wanted. Who knows. Maybe this time they joined in looking to learn, and laugh a little. You know, do things that normal people do when they want to enjoy life. Sit back, watch, take notes, that sorta thing. One things for certain though: you look silly trying to throw in your 2 cents, after we stopped accepting pennies in Canada.
I know I know. People can have their own opinions. And there’s such a thing as freedom of speech. Please bear in mind that goes for everyone though. So if you feel confident to share your pathetic unfounded opinion, be prepared for someone to share their unapologetic response to your foolishness. We all have freedom of expression, but its important you know when not to express yourself.
Remember back in grade school, when we first learned how to write paragraphs and essays? The teacher not only taught us proper structure, but also how to gather your ideas, and research to make your writing stronger. If you don’t remember, I’m sure the repeated spelling and grammatical errors in your social media captions made it clear. Ha! But I digress. Or do I? My friends and family have shared quite a few thoughts and ideas with me over the past year. A lot of them had to do with how I can move forward in life, and become a more productive member in society. On several occasions, they have told me “just ignore it“, “they don’t deserve your time“, “haters gonna hate“, “focus on yourself“. And while all that may be true, I can’t help but share my own opinions on the leeches in life. They say its because I’m a Sagittarius, but I couldn’t tell you a single thing about my sign. Sorry not sorry. What I do know, is that when people beg for my attention and continue to express hate, I make sure to give them a chance to hang themselves. Relax, I would never help anybody commit suicide. The ignorant, hateful, space wasters, always know how to make their way right to the guillotine. Off with their heads!
If you don’t know, then don’t show. Please. It’s embarrassing for humanity. There are many avenues for you to do your research and gain a better understanding of something or even someone before you spew out your hate speech. And in my opinion, if you feel SO strongly about someone, do your due diligence for yourself. Peace of mind is priceless. Maybe your hate is completely baseless. Maybe your “reliable source” had their own vindictive agenda, and used you as pawn to execute their hatred. Always fact check. And if it bothers you enough to weigh in on your thoughts, and interrupt your peace, then address it. It’s not worth addressing if it’s irrelevant to your life, and has left no impact. Many times, this isn’t the case so sort it out why don’t ya.
I’m not perfect. I’ve had my own share of questionable opinions, and even came close to hating without a cause. But, I made sure to do my homework, and realized, damn I really do hate that persons ideologies and character. Good thing I put a lid on that one. But I know that’s not always the case so stop hating before knowing. Get in line, straighten yourself out, and come face to face with what you think you hate, for you may realize what you hate, you really love. Or even worse, what you hate, is a reflection of who you are. #bars

I used to have the most ignorant uncultured opinions when I was younger. Thank God Twitter wasn’t a thing and I couldn’t figure out MySpace. I like your point of view, it should be read to every teen like a PSA.

It’s important we recognize the error in our ways and even in others sometimes. We’ve all been guilty at some point but it’s good to be aware and adjust your thinking. Thanks Aziza!

For some hating is a hobby that never gets old. I get those people crossword puzzles for holiday gifts.

Lol It’s an unfortunate truth Anthony. Let’s keep it positive where we can though 🙏🏾

In a day and age when every is so sensitive to anything, the line between actually hating and just having a difference of opinion is completely blurred. Don’t you find it crazy to think that people who disagree alway say the other person is hating. Hating what? Hating the fact that we have a tip toe culture where profound opinions have to be reduced. Without profound opinions, socially nothing would have changed…. But I digress

I completely agree. We live in a sensitive society. Having an opinion that you can support is not hating. Spreading negativity about something or someone that you barely know about is hating. We got to rise above that. Thanks for sharing J ❤

Agreed! For some people hating has become a sport, which is sad… But, even more sad is that for others, there are probably deep-seeded issues and insecurities that exist i.e. they hate themselves, but take it out on others. They’re crying out for help! What can we do to help them?!
